Opel starts production of GT Concept

Opel company is going to start serial production of stylish concept sports car Opel GT which was recently presented at the Geneva Auto Show in March 2016. The company did not confirm about the early of serial production of Opel GT at the Motor Show. Opel has not provided any information concerning the technical details of future innovations, yet. It can be assumed that they do not sure about all the information themselves, such as what transmission can be installed on the new Opel GT, how powerful is the engine of the sports car and how can exactly make the model all-wheel-drive (the concept version was rear-wheel-drive). Most probably, while these issues are decided by engineers, car manufacturer is afraid of providing anything related to the novelty in advance. According to rumors, the specialists of the new sports car will take advantage of the same four-wheel drive, which crossover Mokka is based on. However, chassis can be the biggest problem as Opel simply do not have the appropriate sample. All these facts make sense that Opel GT is not going to start its sales at the world market in the near future.
