Toyota Previa
Minivan Toyota Previa was debuted at Tokyo Motor Show in late 1989. The minican is attracted by unusual egg-shaped body design. Comfortable salon accommodates up to 8 passengers. There are two power units: 2.4-litre, 16-valve engine with 132 HP as well as 2.2-litre turbodiesel with 101 HP dynamic gasoline engine; maximum speed is 170 km/h and acceleration to 100 km/h takes 13.4 seconds, but fuel consumption of Turbo diesel is much smaller: 14.2 litre and 11 litre to 100 km, respectively.
Toyota Previa has one unusual feature amoung minivans - her body is based on frame design. Toyota Previa has four doors, because there is only one rear sliding type door located on the right side of the minivan. Spare wheel is outside under the floor of the trunk. Toyota Previa models are rear-wheel drive, but very few of them are four-wheel-drive. Hydraulic booster are installed on steering wheels in all versions but they are not too informative. The minivan was ahead among its competitors all the time. Even today, its design looks modern.
